The Trad Lads are a Carrigaline based group that play a mix of Irish ballads and lively traditional Irish tunes. Along with a host of foot stomping jigs and reels expect to hear plenty of old favourites like Cailín na Gailimhe, Oró sé do Bheath Abhaile, Erin Grá mo Chroí and Beidh Aonach Amárach.

Club Daon-Phoblacht (Club People’s Republic) is an Irish language social night for those interested in the Irish language, warmly welcoming anyone of any level of fluency…or anyone who is simply interested in listening to the language or trying out the cúpla focal. If you’ve always thought about reviving your Irish this is a great place to start.

Since its inception in February 2008 as a response to the lack of regular Irish language events in Cork city centre, Club DP has grown steadily attracting large diverse crowds where you’re just as likely to bump into someone from Bulgaria as Ballyvourney….
