Welcome to our website which illustrates our work in promoting the Irish Language. This work is our great joy and privilege, serving to remind our own people that An Ghaeilge, one of Europe's oldest languages has a place in the modern multi-lingual Ireland.

So many circumstances down the years, and our geographical position between powerful other cultures, had caused the Irish people to regard their own language as being irrelevant. Happily the tide has turned and our people are reclaiming the Irish Language. Our work is to further encourage this development. We also hope of course that visitors to this site, be they resident or looking at us from afar,will appreciate what it is we are about.
