Mí na Gaeilge Launched in Cork

Mí na Márta - Mí na Gaeilge is a month long, fun-packed programme of Irish language festivities and events organised by Gael-Taca.

Gael-Taca, Cork’s Irish language promotion organisation will officially launch Mí na Gaeilge 2010 at 2.15pm on Monday March 1st at City Hall.

The Lord Mayor and pupils from Gaelscoil na Dúghlaise will be there to help kick off the festivities.

Gael-Taca would love to see every member of the Cork community, both young and old, getting involved in the various events running during Mí na Gaeilge and using the opportunity to dust off the cúpla focal or indeed the gaeilge líofa and get chatting.
